Autism Care

We understand that living with an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) including Asperger Syndrome can make everyday life challenging and this difficulty can vary dramatically between individuals. We aim to meet the needs of all the people we support and ensures a better quality of life.

Ernest Care Services aim to develop the skills of the people we support to help them make sense of the world around them and through person-centred care plans, encouraged to achieve their goals and aspirations. For some people this means attending college to access various courses, for others it could be work placements and other day opportunities in-line with their goals.

Dementia Care

Over 800,000 people in the UK have a form of dementia, and 1 in 3 people over the age of 65 will have the condition. Almost everybody will know of someone with dementia.

It’s important that the right support and care is available for those who have dementia, and for those who are living with or caring for a loved one with dementia.

We support people with dementia to continue living at home safely. We also support their families through what is a tough time. Our staff are trained to deal with the challenging behaviours that may come with dementia progression with care, compassion and professionalism.

elderly care

Ernest Care Services provide care and support in the community with a view to preventing or delaying the need for more costly care, or nursing homes.

Our home care workers are highly trained, compassionate people who are proud to deliver a high quality home care service for the elderly. You can trust that you, or your elderly relative will be in safe hands, receiving the support that is wanted, needed, and deserved.

Learning Disabilities

People with learning disabilities can lead full and rewarding lives, but may need a degree of support with some aspects of daily life. The levels of support will be unique but may include assisting with everyday personal needs, or help with domestic tasks in the home.

Ernest Care Services support people with learning disabilities to get the best out of life enabling them to make a positive contribution. We believe that life needs to be about what you can do.

Mental Health

Mental illness can affect all people of all ages from young children to the elderly. It is different in everyone, and there are many differing causes; some are inherited genetically, whilst others are brought on by lifestyle or events.

Without the right support and interventions, a mental health illness can prevent individuals from enjoying life. Ernest Care Services are here to support and care for those suffering with mental health illnesses to help them cope with daily life.

Some of the more commonly known mental health problems are:
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
• Eating Disorders
• Bi-Polar Disorder
• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Sensory Impairment Care

We understand the daily challenges faced by people living with physical or sensory impairment and all the staff at Ernest Care Services are trained to provide support that is personalised to meet the specific requirements of each individual.

Physical Disability

To be able to take responsibility yourself, rather than be a passive recipient of care is important for retaining a sense of well being.

Our carers will support and mentor people with physical disabilities to live as independently as possible, encouraging and helping them to get the best out of life.

We can help no matter how simple, or complex the support needs are. With our empowering approach, we ensure that the person we are supporting, their family and friends are all considered in our care plans.
