24 Hours Care
24 Hour Care Service provides around the clock home care for adults and the elderly who may need this level of support to continue living in their own home and community.
We provide you with your own, dedicated 24 hour care worker who is always available in your own home to help you, day or night.
A wide range of people receive 24 hour care, from those who have become elderly and frail, have physical disabilities, terminal illness, or complex care needs, to mental health support needs or a learning disability.
End of Life Care
Coping with terminal illnesses is one of the most difficult challenges in life. Ernest Care Services make a commitment to help you and your loved ones cope during this difficult time. We offer a professional and empathetic end of life care service.
Our end of life care can make your final days that much more comfortable. We enable you to remain at home, in familiar surroundings, with your family at your side.
Hospital discharge
Recover at home with our hospital discharge service, helping you with the transition back to life at home. Our service enables hospital outpatients to recover comfortably at home following serious illness or injury. We understand that illness and injury can put an incredible strain on the body and that the quality of care received during the recovery process is extremely important to your long-term health. By providing high quality convalescent care we can reduce the risk of complications and enable you to concentrate on your recovery.
NHS Response Call
Ernest Care Services’ fully trained and dedicated staff members are available to offer NHS response calls to cover support worker’s care services.
Personal Care
Ernest Care Services provide personal home care to help with the more intimate or personal daily routines which may have become more difficult. We support the elderly and frail, physically disabled, learning disabled, or those with mental health illness with personal daily routines.
This kind of support can range from:
• Getting out of bed in the morning
• Help with washing and dressing
• Assistance with maintaining personal appearance
• Help and support with toileting/incontinence
• Getting settled in for the evening and going to bed
Respite Care
As an informal or family carer most of your time and energy is spent caring and supporting a loved one. It is important for you to take regular breaks by using respite care so that you can enjoy a rest, take a break and recognise the importance of taking time out for yourself.
Our respite carers provide an array of services including accompanying on social outings and special events, attending medical appointments, and help with house keeping. Our respite carers can also provide personal care such as helping with personal appearance and personal hygiene, and practical help around the home.
Supported Living
Supported living schemes are extremely beneficial in enabling people with mild mental health or physical impairment to live more independent lives. Ernest Care Services offer a supported living scheme to support adults and young people with developmental disabilities through the individual program plan (IPP) process, choose to live in their own homes that they themselves own or lease in the community. Our trained staff are there to support you whenever needed.
